的 促进妇女成功基金 supports the career progression of early to mid-career high potential academic women with carer responsibilities 而且 assists the university in fostering talent 而且 progressing gender equity in senior roles within the academy.

By providing funding at a critical time in the careers of academic women, this initiative aims to reduce the impact of career breaks 而且/or caring responsibilities on academic success. Grant awardees receive funds to support a range of academic activities so that they can maintain or enhance the momentum of their productivity 而且强化他们的学术形象.

的 grant also offers optional professional career coaching to assist awardees with their long-term career planning.

As a proud 而且 active supporter of Women in STEMM, 莫纳什医学工程学院 is also now pleased to contribute additional awards to the AWSG program for women, from their four faculty partners who are involved in MedTech research 而且 innovation (further information can be found within the AWSG online 申请表).

的 maximum amount awarded to each recipient of the 促进妇女成功基金 is $11,000.

Grant awardees will also have the opportunity to participate in a professional career coaching service, valued at approximately $2500 (optional component).

的促进妇女成功基金 aims to promote academic excellence 而且 has been designed to offer a degree of 灵活性 在它的使用方面. 申请人可申请资助下列项目:

资格

当前的 ag九游会官网登录 academic staff member in a Teaching 而且 Research, Education-focused or Research only position who holds a PhD 而且 is employed at Level B or Level C as at 31 January 2023 at one of the Australian locations of ag九游会官网登录;
全职或兼职(最低聘任为0.4 fraction) in an ongoing appointment or a fixed-term employment contract which expires no earlier than 31 December 2023 (please note: staff whose contracts are set to expire prior to 31 December 2023 can apply if they attach a confirmation from their supervisor or head of unit that there is an intention to renew their fixed-term contract); 而且

如何申请

申请者必须:

complete the 促进妇女成功基金 2023 申请表 (在拨款开放期间提供);
准备附件 (outlined in the Guidelines); 而且

provide details of their employment at ag九游会官网登录;
provide a succinct summary of their academic career, 而且 achievements;

提供一个简短的预算大纲, which demonstrates that the proposed items/activities are carefully planned 而且 ultimately feasible;
provide details of family/carer responsibilities 而且 any career interruptions or disruptions they have had due to these responsibilities, including details of any periods of parental leave, COVID-related impacts (childcare / school closures / lab closures) or reduced work fractions;
include their supervisor’s details (而且 confirm their supervisor has been advised of their application).

Applications will be assessed against the key selection criteria:

Evidence of high potential 而且 academic achievements relative to opportunity;
的 likelihood that the grant would enable the applicant to maintain or improve their academic st而且ing / productivity 而且 thus address the impact of career interruptions/carer responsibilities;
Feasibility of the proposed budget 而且 that no other source of funding is available; 而且

选择过程

All eligible applications will be assessed by the Selection Committee.
